The candidate will assist with research efforts in the McCray Lab related to human coronavirus infections. A focus is on coronavirus lung disease pathogenesis and novel therapies. Areas of research interest include mouse models of disease, mouse adapted viruses, lung disease pathogenesis, lung injury and repair, and the development of disease preventions and treatments. Record, plot, analyze and interpret data independently
Perform virology, molecular, biochemistry, and cell biology techniques.
Maintain detailed and accurate notes of experimental results.
