The Dean of the Camden City Campus provides leadership, strategic planning, evaluation, supervision and comprehensive assessment for all Camden Campus activities with the goal of continually improving all aspects of curriculum, instruction and student services at Camden County College consistent with the goals and directives of the Executive Dean of School, Community & Workforce Training Programs.
1.Supervise all aspects of short- and long-term operations at the Camden City Campus in cooperation with administrators of academic and support service units at the Blackwood Campus. 2.Provide continuous improvement/assessment of all Camden City campus operations; i.e., bookstore, facilities, security, conference center support; initiatives; and strategic plans. 3.Serve as Deputy Title IX and Section 504 Coordinator for the Camden City Campus. 4.Develop and implement marketing plans for high school and community-based programs. 5.Create and oversee implementation of annual campus budget, as well as grant budgets and contracts related to the unit. 6.Coordinate course offerings, scheduling, and student services at the Camden Campus with appropriate deans, faculty, and staff at the Blackwood Campus. 7.Assist in the development and implementation quality systems for effective delivery and assessment of academic instruction. 8.Organize, supervise, and oversee the evaluation of all professional and support staff at the Camden City Campus. 9.Oversee development and delivery of community service programs in Camden City including ABE, GED, ESL and other courses and services tailored for targeted populations in Camden City. 10.Develop and implement programs and services related to college/school district partnerships in Camden City. 11.Liaison with educational and professional groups and institutions external to the College, including the creation and operation of advisory committees and the development and maintenance of relationships with area high schools and colleges. 12.Represent the College with the County Workforce Development Board and other local advisory committees. 13.Comply with all safety, fire and smoking regulations. 14.Complete all mandatory compliance and safety training as scheduled by Human Resources. 15.Perform all other duties as assigned.
1.Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred. 2.Minimum 10 years experience in academic and student service programming, including administrative experience, in progressively responsible educational positions. 3.Experience in developing and managing capital and operational budgets for programs and grants.
