Manage and administer all aspects of the Gymnastics Program within University, ACC and NCAA rules and regulations. Head Coaching responsibilities to include but not limited to practice competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics, etc., mentoring student-athletes, and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program. Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified students. Promote academic progress of student-athletes on and the off-field. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire through athletics.
Education and Experience:
Successful intercollegiate coaching experience, preferably at the Division I level, and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations preferred. Strong interpersonal communications skills; computer skills; demonstrated integrity, leadership, and a thorough knowledge of the sport are required. Knowledge of and familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations essential. Must possess a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified student-athletes who are focused on both academics and athletics. Ability to become CPR and first aid certified.
