The Director will be responsible in the management of the department. The Director must possess a working knowledge of regulations and policies governing federal, state, and institutional aid programs and process excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. In addition, the Director must enjoy extensive interaction with students and parents as the position is engaged in extensive direct communication with applicants. The incumbent in this position must be have extensive experience with PeopleSoft Processing, Canvas, Customer Service systems, and Perceptive Concepts Imaging System. This position is responsible for the review of applications, determination of awards, maintaining compliance with aid regulations, and communication with families about financial aid availability. This position reports to the Associate VP of Financial Services.
