The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) partners with senior leaders and the front line to optimize complex systems across our Enterprise (Hospital). This position is a key member of EPMO's Analytics program. The goal of the program is to deliver rapid and easy access to actionable data that can be used to develop knowledge and inform and influence decision making to achieve desired outcomes, ultimately driving better and more cost effective patient care.
This Continuous Improvement Consultant will be responsible for:
Developing on-demand reporting in partnership with teammates and colleagues from other depts.
Providing analyses and reporting of institution-wide performance indicators as well as project specific metrics that are timely, accurate, interpretable and actionable
Subject matter expertise for visualization tools (e.g. Microstrategy or Tableau)
Facilitating the spread of tools and technology throughout BCH. Co-leading enterprise wide community building efforts such as the Analyst Forum and Smartsheet User Group. Assisting in the administration of Smartsheet Account
Contributing to the development of knowledge management strategy, facilitating access to information, cross-project learning, and best practice sharing
Contributing to projects of varying size and complexity. Maintaining knowledge of CI and PM methodologies
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Science, Business Admin, Engineering, Public Health or related field
Min 2 yrs relevant experience in healthcare project management, continuous improvement consulting, or applying six sigma and lean tools in a complex organization
Preferred: Knowledge of data warehousing and business analytic apps. SQL and/or related coding skills
Preferred: Knowledge of biostatistics. Familiarity with SAS, SPSS, SigmaXL or other statistical software
Preferred: Knowledge of other software apps such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, RedCap, Confluence, or Jira
Desirable: Knowledge of predictive analytics, modeling, or simulation
Desirable: Knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or supply chain analytics
