Supervision of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in on-campus and off-campus practicum.
Clinical experiences include screenings, diagnostics, and therapy.
Teaching one course may be considered based on the needs of the department.
Job Requirements Demonstrate a broad range of clinical experiences across the lifespan. Desired assessment and intervention experiences should include the following: AAC, autism, voice, fluency, aphasia, adult communication disorders, early childhood and school-age speech and language disorders as well as strong clinical writing skills. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills with students, clients, families, colleagues and other professionals.
Master's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology or its equivalent.
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology.
New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
Three years' experience in speech-language pathology.
At least 2 CEUs in Supervision prior to start date.
Clinical supervisory experience
Evidence of a strong commitment to increasing the diversity of the students and faculty in our field as well as to teaching student clinicians the principles of multiculturalism and inclusion for our clients and patients.
