The Undergraduate Academic Advisor in Economics (EC) is the primary point of contact for all Economics majors and minors and students in other disciplines who seek advice about EC courses and programs. The advisor serves as the academic advisor for 2nd and 3rd-year students with assistance from faculty advisors. In cooperation with the CAS Academic Advising Center, the EC Advisor will help students navigate the University's General Education program (BU Hub) while working with them to develop a plan to realize their academic, career, and life goals.
The Advisor will also participate in First-Year Experience programming including teaching first-year seminars and planning and leading programs in collaboration with CAS Office of Student Programs & Leadership and participate in the planning and execution of general EC departmental functions as they relate to the undergraduate program.
Bachelors degree required
3-5 years of related experience
