The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics department of Food and Nutrition is seeking a Clerk II to perform clerical work requiring independent judgment in the application of policies and procedures within the area of assignment and according to stated guidelines. Duties may involve the use of personal computers, computer terminals, and/or a variety of software and conventional office equipment.
Answer telephone to take orders from patients for meal trays, and clinic box lunches
Routinely interacts with food workers, diet clerks, dietitians and nursing staff
Maintain menu accuracy
Manage two phones at one time

Any combination of clerical office experience, undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to one year of full-time employment
