Antioch University New England (AUNE) invites applications for a full-time Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) faculty member to join our progressive team in our dual-delivery (online and weekend-based) model program. The CMHC Program is a CACREP-accredited program that is part of Antioch University New England in Keene, NH. We offer concentrations in both Trauma and Addictions Counseling.

In alignment with Antioch’s mission, the CMHC program at AUNE is committed to experiential learning, social justice, extensive clinical training, scholarship, and the use of creative, progressive and applied approaches. AUNE has been educating counselors for over 40 years and has a network of alumni throughout New England, and the country, who serve as many of our field supervisors and employers. Faculty are expected to engage in pedagogy and practices that reflect the social justice mission of the university.
The CMHC program is offered in two platforms – one that is predominantly a hybrid weekend platform for regionally located students, and one that is a low residency platform with online course work and a minimum of two required intensive residency experiences in Fall and Spring semesters. This position will be a remote position, with the opportunity to work in person at either the weekend or the week-long residencies.
The position has responsibilities that include:
teaching 18 credits per academic year and engaging in student advising
Meeting university expectations in scholarship, service to the profession, and institutional citizenship
Engaging in program, department, and campus committees
Engaging in ongoing department and program initiatives, particularly related to improvements in pedagogy and student engagement
Additional Summer teaching is available as overload.

Educational and Experiential Requirements and Qualifications
An earned doctorate in counselor education and supervision (CACREP-accredited program preferred), professional counselor credentials (e.g., NCC or state licensure), at least two years of professional clinical experience, and graduate teaching experience.
Preferred qualifications include:
expertise in online pedagogy specific to clinical training programs
knowledge of CACREP Standards and program evaluation
commitment to social justice and advocacy underpinned by the American Counseling Association’s (2015) Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling Competencies
