Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a per diem Physician Specialist for the department of OB/GYN at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Under the direction of the Division Director, this position is responsible for clinical care, teaching and research in the field of General OB/GYN.
Provides house coverage which includes covering the emergency department (ED), including working with the clinic patients in the hospital.
Provides competent assessment, treatment and/or care to patients in the clinic and in the hospital.
Oversees and participates in Ob house call which includes covering the (ED).
Properly and fully completes all forms and records provided by the hospital to accurately document treatment provided.
Requests consultation with other professionals as needed.
Responds to consultation requests on a timely basis in accordance with medical staff rules and regulations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Completion of Board accredited training programs in General Obstetrics/Gynecology.
Board certified or eligible in General Ob/Gyn.
