Reporting to and collaborating with the Finance Director and supervising the two Financial Planning and Analysis Specialists, this position serves as a mid-level manager with oversight of finance and budget professionals and manages complex budget projects and financial planning for Keene State College. The successful candidate for this position will have the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule (partially remote and in-office).
â¢Bachelor's degree â¢A minimum of seven years of professional experience in a field related to financial management, with three years minimum supervisory experience â¢Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and budget management, including forecasting and monitoring â¢Understanding of and proficiency in navigating computerized financial systems â¢Ability to set concrete goals, develop aligned strategy, and make data-informed decisions â¢Proven mathematical, organizational, and analytical skills â¢Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interface with diverse audiences including senior administrators, employees/staff, faculty, students, and the general public â¢Ability to build consensus, set direction, and lead through change â¢Ability to perceive and balance multiple interests and perspectives â¢Openness to 360-degree feedback and desire to learn and grow continuously
