This jointly advised position is fully funded and affords an opportunity to employ a combination of biochemical and computational approaches and to be simultaneously mentored by both an established and new investigator. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to develop a completely independent project on a ~15-20% time basis.
REQUIRED : Ph.D. in biology or closely related field; experience purifying and imaging protein complexes, generating 3D reconstructions with traditional tools such as Relion, and an interest in helping to further develop and employ new methodssuch as CryoDRGN to analyze heterogeneous structural ensembles.
