UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to join our UW Medicine Heart Institute team.
The Heart Institute Clinic provides care to our patients within multiple cardiac subspecialties, including non-invasive imaging. Listed below are the areas that we are accepting applications for:
Cardiac Surgery: The Cardiac Surgery Registered Nurse will collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team to provide care to surgical patients. Duties include patient triage, coordination of care and diagnostic testing, patient education, and care management.
Echo: The Echo RN will monitor patients during cardiac imaging tests such as treadmill, Dobutamine and bicycle stress tests.
Float RN Montlake/South Lake Union: This RN will be trained to float between the different Sub-Specialties of the clinic and our Echo procedural area. Duties include patient triage and teaching, along with assisting with medication administration during Echo cardiac testing.
EP Clinic: The Electrophysiology clinic provides general and specialty electrophysiology care. Our physicians have expertise in the treatment of conditions of arrhythmias, pacemakers, defibrillators and ablations. Nurses in the Electrophysiology Clinic provide expert nursing care and care coordination, phone triage, patient and family teaching in an environment which facilitates professional nursing practice and growth.
SCHEDULE 100% day shifts. Our team does not work holidays in support of work life balance.
REQUIREMENTS Requires two years nursing experience and BLS/CPR certification.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS Washington State RN license required by start date.
DESIRED BSN preferred.
