This Program Coordinator I will be responsible for:
Coordinating activities and daily operations of one ACGME-accredited fellowship program (Pediatric Hospital Medicine), and three non-ACGME accredited fellowship programs (General Academic Pediatrics, Complex Care, and Pediatric Environmental Health)
Work with our Pediatric Hospital Medicine team to coordinate schedules and track overnight shifts
May prepare or assist in preparation of proposal for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors.
Conferring with staff and others to provide technical advice, provide problem solving assistance and answer questions about the program and its goals. Refers inquiries to others as needed.
May prepare or assists in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
May review applications or other program documents in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program.
May assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts.
Drafts written communication and promotional literature.
May assist in planning workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
Interacting and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
Assist with various projects for the Division of General Pediatrics
To qualify, you must have:
Associate's degree with one year of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
