The Division of Nephrology is seeking a Data Analyst to provide analytic and project support for the Columbia University Renal Epidemiology (CURE) group. The CURE group is a NIH funded research group focused on epidemiology, health outcomes, health disparities and health services research as it relates to patients with kidney disease.
Provide analytical support for the Columbia University Renal Epidemiology (CURE) group
Document, implement, maintain and/or recommend operating methods to improve processing, distribution, data flow, collection, and database editing procedures
Communicate complex concepts and the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner
Contribute to the writing and preparation of grant applications, including the organization of pilot data
Participate in the writing and preparation of manuscripts for peer review
Attend all required team meetings on a regular basis
Perform other duties as needed
Bachelorâ€™s degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus two years of related experience
Masterâ€™s degree in epidemiology, biostatistics or a relevant field of study would substitute for experience
Advanced working knowledge in Stata
Programming skills and familiarity with R, SAS and ARcGIS
Successful completion of applicable compliance and system training requirements
