The Department of Therapeutic Radiology at the Yale School of Medicine is seeking applications for positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
The Yale Department of Therapeutic Radiology has state-of-the-art clinical and laboratory facilities, and the integrated clinical program serves over 4,000 new patients annually. The department consists of 26 clinical faculty and also features 15 Ph.D. physicists and 10 laboratory-based basic scientists. The department is an integral part of the Yale Comprehensive Cancer Center. The department has an ACGME accredited four-year Residency program in radiation oncology affiliated with the Yale-New Haven Hospital. In addition to the YNHH facility in the Smilow Cancer Hospital, the Department of Therapeutic Radiology is involved in running several affiliated radiation therapy facilities in the State of Connecticut, which are fully integrated into our clinical program. These associated facilities participate in our ongoing clinical research and educational programs. The department also features more than 14,000 sf of recently renovated laboratory space and has a long history of basic science and translational research contributions.
