Temporary Job Description:
The Temporary Phlebotomy Clinical Support is a non-benefits eligible position. The Phlebotomist is an essential member of the Northwestern University All of Us Research Program study team. He/she performs clinical support for an ongoing research study under the direction of the Clinical Operations Manager.
The Phlebotomist will perform clinical support duties at Northwestern Delnor Hospital. In addition, s/he will label, collect, stock supplies, and enter data information into our systems. S/he will also support ongoing duties essential to All of Us Research team including setting up appointment with participants via phone calls, text messaging, email exchanges, via a web-based appointment scheduling system, and checking in/out participates.

This position can be full or part time, starting ASAP.
The phlebotomist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Blood collection in out-patient setting
• Processing specimens
• Maintaining proper inventory of phlebotomy supplies
• Perform general administrative duties
• Phlebotomy certification required
• CPR certification required
• Phlebotomy experience and handling of biospecimen
• Selected candidate should have the ability to deal with participants from all cultures and socio-economic levels in a respectful manner.
• Willingness to pitch in and help the study team members as needed.
• Must be detailed oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility in scheduling and adapt to ongoing changes
