This position is critical to the success of the Sport Management program as it is responsible for coordinating the student's capstone experience which is a hallmark of the expanding SPM program. The primary role of the internship coordinator will include working with students in their academic and professional development throughout all four years of their undergraduate career, culminating with the senior capstone experiences for students. Ongoing contact with students throughout their four years at SU will be vital mentoring them through coursework, experiential learning opportunities and internships that will enhance their academic and practical experiences. Additional duties include overseeing academic advising in the department as well as carrying a full student advising load, teaching is expected.
