Reporting directly to the Senior Program Director of Lifelong Learning and Community Programs, the Secretary will provide program support to Hofstra Summer Camps.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: â€¢Answer phones and open mail â€¢Complete follow-up calls to prospective camp families â€¢Assist with processing student registrations in departmental Jenzabar database â€¢Assist with departmental program mailings â€¢Research and summarize programs and competitor information â€¢Assist with preparation and distribution of program rosters and course â€¢Review and update the American Camp Association Accreditation Guide each year â€¢ Assist with maintaining and updating records and collecting documentation in accordance with Board of Health specifications. â€¢Perform other duties not specifically identified above but which-require the same degree of skill and which are normally included within the above job title
Hours: 20 hours per week-10:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday-Friday, additional hours may be required, some evenings and weekends, in support of special events. Hours subject to change during the months of June, July, and August, Vacation time is limited to September 1-May 1.
