The Senior Director of Gift Planning is a key member of the Advancement team. The position is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of planned gifts that will benefit colleges and units across the UT Knoxville campus. The Senior Director of Gift Planning is expected to make a minimum of 140 visits with alumni and donors, deliver at least 50 proposals, and raise a minimum of $15,000,000 annually. The position also advises and collaborates with development staff from all colleges and units in the design of strategies and gift plans and supports estate and tax planning professionals (attorneys, CPAs, financial planners, stockbrokers, life insurance agents, and bank trust officers) about UT programs and funding needs.
