SEASONAL - Summer 2021 Service Aide I, University Housing
Pay Rate: $12.00 Per Hour
This position is seasonal for Summer 2021 and provides critical custodial services throughout the residence halls designed to maintain all University Housing facilities in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition. The work schedule for this position is Monday - Saturday, 7:00AM - 5:30PM with Sundays off *(unless weekend coverage is needed based on the total number of employees working within the assigned building).
GENERAL PUBLIC AREA CLEANING: Clean public areas including but not limited to: lounges, stairwells, lobbies, hallways, recreation rooms, laundry rooms, and multi-purpose rooms; Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip/wax hard surface flooring; Perform carpet care and cleaning; Dust surfaces; Remove trash and recyclable material.
RESTROOM/BATHROOM CLEANING: Clean and disinfect student/residential, staff, and public bathroom/restrooms.
MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES: Unload supplies; Write up maintenance/custodial work orders; Move furniture; Install mattresses; Wash linens; Turnover guest apartments; Perform special event set-up and take down.
EXTERIOR GROUNDS KEEPING: Pick-up and remove trash; Weed flower beds; Clean concrete surfaces and walks; Remove snow and ice from walkways.
** THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE AVAILABILITY FOR POSSIBLE OVERTIME.**
