Advertised Job Summary:
This position is part of the SC Small Business Development Centers Network (SC SBDC), hosted by the University of South Carolina. The SC SBDC provides private consulting and training to small businesses and entrepreneurs across the state. This individual works with SC SBDC leadership and network personnel to develop and deploy client and public educational programs as well as a system to manage them. The Training Coordinator conducts research to identify needs and benchmark available tools/knowledge; provides input on design of programs; participates in scheduling, presenting, training on new tools and programs; and manages documentation/meeting notes. The individual also works with the Cares Act Project Manager and Operations/Training Manager to assist in developing and organizing curriculum for internal training programs. This position supports other Cares Act initiatives as appropriate. This is a temporary position funded under the U.S. Cares Act program, which expires Sept. 30, 2022.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in related field with a minimum of three years of experience, preferably in training. Also looking for: Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent communication skills Demonstrated team/collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple assignments within strict deadlines Proficiency with online platforms such as Zoom, and CRM/data management Self-starter/ability to work on own Small business experience preferred
