Advertised Job Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant's role is to assist the Providers and assure that data is gathered efficiently, patients are prepared for exams, and results/needs are communicated to patients under direct supervision. Individual will triage patients within approved guidelines and scope of practice and perform some procedures to include dressing changes, nebulizer treatments and ear irrigation. Responsible for stocking and inventorying medical supplies and equipment and use and maintenance of desktop autoclave to ensure quality sterilization process of medical instruments. Provides administrative support for patients such as checking in and out, scheduling of appointments and referrals. Assists with authorization of procedures and medications.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Graduation from accredited training program or high school diploma and 2 years related experience. Certification (or Registered) as a Medical Assistant is required. CPR certification required prior to hire date.
