The Business Systems Analyst will report to the Senior Director, Executive Education Information Technology (EEIT). This position will focus on supporting the Executive Education Salesforce technology solution covering Marketing Automation, Customer Relationship Management, Admissions, Finance and Program Delivery. In addition, this position will assist with technology necessary in supporting Executive Education (ExEd) programs, faculty, participants and the program delivery teams.
This person will work directly with EEIT, Executive Education users, HBS IT and external vendors on the maintenance and ongoing enhancements for the Salesforce solution and the Learning Management ecosystem. The strong candidate needs to have three key skills. First, they must be proficient in analyzing business processes to help translate business needs and explain technological implications. Secondly, the Business Systems Analyst needs to have deep investigative and testing skills while being proactive in addressing issues and identifying trends. Lastly, they need Salesforce experience focused on reporting, dashboards and, ideally, Marketing Cloud.
The Business Systems Analyst will document customer needs and technical requirements, validate functionality usage and communicate their findings to a wider team.
They will work directly with end users to ensure their needs are met and to provide any necessary training and documentation.
They will be the lead on data uploads and the process around them.
This candidate will also play a key role in assisting with the deployment of Marketing Cloud to different departments.
Within the EEIT team, this candidate will manage the incoming work.
ExEd is a highly customer-centric organization so this role will provide a high-level of customer service to our staff, faculty, participants and prospects which is crucial.

4+ years technology experience with an advanced degree or 6+ years' technology experience with a Bachelor's degree is required.
