The Doctorate, Physical Therapy Program Director is responsible for the administration of the Physical Therapy Program in the Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Sciences, in the School of Health Professions, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, Rutgers University. The Program Director along with the department administration, will be responsible for faculty supervision, writing policies, maintaining a budget, maintaining accreditation, and other administrative responsibilities consistent with administering a Physical Therapy Doctoral program.

EDUCATIONAND/OR EXPERIENCE -A PhD or EdD in a related field -Be a New Jersey Licensed physical therapist or eligible for New Jersey licensure -Excellent organizational and planning skills, communication skills and computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Learning Mangement systems -Excellent record of employment and/or teaching experience in the field -A minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Physical Therapy with a minimum of 3 years in a full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the post-baccalaureate level -Current APTA membership -Experiences with Physical Therapy curriculum design and accreditation -In-depth knowledge of CAPTE regulations
