Assist with implementation of center-wide grazing program. Construct and remove temporary electric fence as needed while moving livestock through grazing rotation. Collect data for the calculation of stock density and stocking rate. Measure plant canopy heights, assess plant development stage, evaluate plant vigor and submit data reports to supervisor. Assist with timely and accurate data entry. Assist with pasture maintenance and improvements. Will assist in other operational areas as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma plus one year of livestock, range management or related experience required; equivalency considered. Precision, accuracy and attention to detail necessary. Ability to maintain equipment, machinery, fields and pastures essential. Valid driver’s license required.
Prefer associate’s degree in rangeland management or grassland management. Grazing/grassland experience preferred.
