Performs all aspects of slaughters and carcass fabrication including cuts, trims and bones of beef and swine in an animal research facility setting. Responsible for maintenance, minor repair and sanitization of facilities and equipment. Maintains records and compiles various reports. Assists livestock farm operations as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to slaughter and fabricate meat required; experience is helpful but training is provided. Ability to work with large animals in a slaughter environment; lifting, pushing, and pulling large amounts of weight. Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures. Ability to read and understand instructions, procedures,and research protocols. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Experience in slaughtering and cutting of meat preferred.
Posted Salary: $14.50/hr minimum
