Payroll Services provides quality assurance for accurate, timely processing of all payroll functions for the University of Kentucky. This position demands attention to detail and the ability to meet established deadlines. Duties for this position include (but are not limited to): evaluation and entry of tax documents, direct deposit information, and garnishments; complex calculations of paycheck, garnishment, and Federal, State, and Local tax in accordance with governmental regulations; validation of W2 and 1042S information for all University employees; integration and maintenance of I-20, DS-2019, I797, EAD, OPT cards, Visa, and I-94 documents, to ensure compliance with IRS regulations concerning Nonresident Alien employees; provide assistance to University employees on all aspects of payroll; direction, counsel, and assistance to departments with complex questions regarding SAP data processing and payroll functionality; and adherence to all University, Federal, State, and Local government policies.
