The Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineer is an integral member of the team responsible for managing identities, authorization and authentication services for the University System of New Hampshire institutions. In support of the goals and objectives of the IAM team, this position will be responsible for the development, engineering and operations of best in class IAM technologies. This position will play a key role as a technical lead on various technology projects and consulting engagements.
Good working knowledge of Identity and Access Management principles, controls and auditory requirements Good working knowledge of identity and account provisioning platforms (ideally, SailPoint Identity IQ) and federation/authentication technologies such as SecureAuth identity provider. Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure MFA, Azure App Portal, Azure AD, and Office 365 (messaging) Experience with standard authentication protocols and frameworks such as SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC Proficient in development methodologies and languages. Comfortable with handling both technical and coordination aspects of projects Business case definition and management Familiar with Privilege account management software
