CPRL is seeking support from two individuals to support collection and analysis of qualitative data on the role of high-quality curriculum and instructional materials in advancing student learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Completing this work will require conducting due diligence, interviewing families and educators about their experiences with school during the pandemic; cleaning, coding, and reviewing qualitative data; collecting and reviewing artifacts; and supporting the development and drafting of findings and recommendations for schools and school systems to strengthen learning beyond the pandemic context.
Apply education and policy knowledge and skills to CPRL team's development of deliverables
Support CPRL staff
Liaise with clients and manage client relationships
Conduct interviews and focus groups and support development of findings and responsive resources
Advanced degree in business, education, law (JD, LLM) or policy preferred
Alumnus/a of CPRL's Structural Change in Public Education Seminar & Practicum preferred
Minimum two years of P-12 education-related experience in management consulting, organizational leadership, program design or evaluation, research, and/or other relevant area.
Experience as a P-12 teacher or experience teaching/mentoring young professionals preferred.
Intellectual capacity to think strategically in a fast-paced environment; understand multiple perspectives; learn about new topics; problem solve and develop responsive solutions under changing circumstances.
Ability to respond to and integrate feedback from both peers and supervisors; ability to communicate feedback to individuals and teams in a clear and productive manner.
Excellent interpersonal, organization, project management, and communication skills.
Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Keen attention to detail.
