We are recruiting for an Associate Director, Hospital Operations for the Department of Medicine (DOM), t he largest of our clinical departments.
In this new role, you will:
Report to the Director and lead the operational, fiscal, human and information resource functions within the Divisions of Hematologic Malignancies and Solid Tumor Medical Oncology, including academic and outpatient operations.
Serve as the thought and business partner to the Service Chief/Clinical Director, providing strategic, financial, analytical and operational support for the execution and management of operational and business activities of the Service and/or clinical program.
Partner with the Director and Senior Director to lead and implement strategic Departmental initiatives.
Provide leadership and direction to a team of Assistant Managers in both the academic and outpatient setting, cultivating and fostering an empowered and engaged workforce, continuous improvement, and the highest quality service for our patients.

Bachelors Degree with at least 7 years directly related experience supporting a clinical practice, preferably in an academic medical center environment, or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 11 years relevant experience.
Proven track record as a collaborator with the ability to work across functional areas (e.g., Nursing, Facilities Management, Marketing, Public Affairs).
Prior leadership/management experience required.
High level proficiency in MS Office Suite products, especially MS Excel.
