Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a wide variety of technical lab support, individually and/or together with other research personnel.
The majority of time will be spent independently performing experiments including protein isolation, western blot, histology, fluorescent imaging, cell culture (cell lines), flow cytometry, quantitative RT-PCR. The person should maintain detailed records of all experiments and data. Working with small laboratory animals (mice).
Data analysis and interpretation; maintenance of experimental protocols (working with the PI and other lab staff in both). Maintain lab supplies and coordinate general lab maintenance with the PI or other lab staff.

The applicant is expected to have a Bachelor’s degree or Masters in a science-related field. The applicant must be confident, honest, a team-player, have a positive outlook, and be self-motivated to conduct experiments by themselves as well as work with other lab members and the PI. Willingness and ability to acquire new skills. Strong organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail are necessary.
At least 1 year of laboratory research experience. Work experience with mouse models of cancer is not required but is a plus
