NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager. The Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager will serve as a key resource in building and executing on the school’s data strategy that are crucial to the success and reputation of NYU Stern as a top ranked business school. Under the guidance of the Chief Analytics and Data Officer, this role will work with key stakeholders and business partners to serve as an “internal consultant” providing leadership, support and training around analytics throughout the school. The Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager will provide technical assistance and training to various stakeholders on the utility and interpretation of data. This role will also implement school wide assessments and initiatives and collaborations with business partners on data collection workflow, data analysis and reporting of results to school leadership.
A Bachelor's degree (Master’s degree preferred) and 5 years’ experience in data mappings, documenting transformation rules, requirement gathering and testing are required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ability to synthesize data, uncover inherent trends in data, assess impacts of data on business usage and make recommendations for improvement is also required. The selected candidate will be able transform complex data into insightful information through analytics and visualizations and present it using a compelling narrative. Knowledge and experience in Salesforce is critical. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality data driven solutions.
