Job Summary: The MFA in Filmmaking invites candidates with a minimum of an MFA degree or higher, to apply for the position of adjunct instructor to teach a 3-credit, graduate level course in Advanced Cinematography & Lighting, for Fall 2021. The instructor will provide real world exercises to support graduate students and potential senior undergraduate students to understand how theÂ Director of Photography has an instrumental role in crafting the final look of a film. This includes facilitating camera topics on camera settings and trouble-shooting, on-set data management, color science, working with LogC, look management, and dailies creation.Â
MFA in Filmmaking
Two years teaching or teaching intern experience
Professional filming experience with the following cameras:Â Arri Amira,Â Red Scarlet,Â Canon C500, Canon, C300MKii,Â Sony FS7; the following lenses: Xeen PL Prime Kit, Canon 17-120mm Cine-Servo PL, Cooke 20-100mm PL; and the following lights:Â ARRI Fresnel 150/300/650, Joker-Bug 800W HMI, and finally the Kino Flo Freestyle 31 LED.
