University Health Center is looking for a motivated, caring individual to join our team working within a clinical healthcare academic setting. The Custodian II is responsible for providing services that disinfect surfaces and provide an aesthetically pleasing environment. Responsible for cleaning an assigned area (e.g. administrative, outpatient, academic or research setting) on a daily basis. Cleaning tasks include, but are not limited to, bathrooms, public lounges, laundry rooms, stairwells, tile floors, and carpet. Will be trained to extract carpet and maintain hard surface floors. Will mix cleaning solutions per instructions. Occasionally move furniture or set up chairs and tables for special events. Full time position with 8 hour shifts, Mon – Fri, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Some overtime and weekends required.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
8th grade education. Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
Experience within a health care related environment preferred.
