The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics department of Food & Nutrition Services is seeking a Food Service Supervior for retail to supervise the performance of general service staff in designated area; enforce departmental work guidelines and polices/procedures. Other duties include:
Maintain adequate staffing, food quality, schedules, and quality assurance records
Complete assigned forecasting
Order menu items to meet demand
Assist in providing food service as needed
Attend assigned meetings and conducts staff meetings

Percent of Time: 50%
Schedule: 07:00 AM-11:00 AM. Work Week 1 Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Work Week 2 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Can work up to 40 hours as needed. Looking for someone with a flexible schedule. Will be scheduled anytime between 05:00 AM-09:00 PM as needed to cover co-supervisor vacations.
Pay Grade: 08
Regular salaried position located in Iowa City, Iowa

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
High School graduation or equivalent and two years of directly related food distribution experience;
or any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution
