The Admissions Officer reports to the Associate Dean and Director of Diversity Outreach and Access, the Admissions Officer serves as a professional member of an Admissions team charged with the recruitment and selection of diverse, bright, highly engaged, creative and intellectual students from across the United States and around the world.
Salary and Benefits: This is a exempt level position. The starting salary for this role is $52, 478. The selected finalist’s salary will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, internal pay structure, and our overall compensation package. Education/Experience/Skills (supported by job duties):
A bachelor’s degree is required.
A valid driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Some demonstrable exposure to the field of admissions or related recruitment experience.
Strong understanding of the nature and aims of a selective, residential liberal arts college.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex issues with clarity.
Enthusiasm for and demonstrated commitment to supporting a student body that is broadly diverse with regard to gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, and religion, among other factors.
An eagerness to implement and promote anti-racist policies in both big picture and day to day work.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
A willingness and ability to work extended and weekend hours during peak periods.
Leadership skills: Highly collaborative, dynamic, optimistic, empathetic, patient, and fun.
Prior experience with Slate CRM.
Previous professional experience with college access programming.
Proficiency or fluency in a language other than English.
