Provide instruction, advising and leadership of the college's A.A.S. program in Education. Network with university faculty and advisors to ensure that BSCTC Education majors are prepared for and well-informed of the transfer process. May also teach in secondary area of expertise.
This is a defined-term, 10-month faculty contract position located on the Prestonsburg Campus.
Instruction of a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester.
Provide advising and program leadership.
Duties include teaching face-to-face and online, on multiple campuses as needed, advising, serving on college committees and participating in college events and activities, providing external service to the community and participating in professional development activities.
Master's Degree in Education or another field and 18 graduate hours in Education and four (4) years related experience.
Credential must be granted from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
Two (2) years of higher education leadership is strongly preferred. A passion for teaching undergraduate students and an ability to work with a team effectively is essential to success in this position.
Minimum Salary: $36,340.00 Annually
