The Luddy Graduate Recruitment and Admissions Team works directly with prospective students, applicants, new admits, and current students. The Team is responsible for recruiting students for its Ph.D. and MS programs and providing them with accurate information as to the requirements and standards.
This position will assist the Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions with recruitment and admissions activities, which include but is not limited to, the following:
Communicate with prospective students, applicants, new admits, etc. via email, telephone, zoom, and in-person in a professional and timely manner.
Identify and proactively recruit qualified graduate students.
Attend professional conferences and graduate recruitment fairs to recruit graduate students.
Host and attend recruiting events.
Develop recruiting training tools for faculty, staff, prospective students, admits, and current students.
Assist the Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions.
Additional responsibilities and duties:
Monitor the online chat with the applicants and admits.
Provide input as what needs to be added to the social media platform and Facebook, WhatsApp, and Telegram.
Provide administrative support.
Assist international students throughout the application and admission processes.
Assist students in completing the application and other related paperwork.
Answer inquiries on housing needs, tuition fee, and part time jobs for students.
Maintain new student lists with the Recruitment team.
Schedule student appointments and meetings for information sessions.
Collaborate with team members to provide accurate answers to applicant inquiries.
Implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve the enrolment objectives.
Organize educational presentations as per the direction of the Recruitment and Admissions team.
Plan and organize admission related events and activities.
Provide support to the Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions managing recruitment.
Address student inquiries and complaints in timely fashion.
Coordinate with the admission team to schedule admission and recruitment programs.
Maintain a cordial relationship with the Luddy Leadership, faculty and administrative teams for smooth operations.
Coordinate with marketing communications team to prepare and update admission materials as well as the website.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficient communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in education, business, public policy, or a related field. Effective time management and the ability to multi-task. Pro-active. Organizational skills. Effective teamwork skills. Process oriented. Effective writing skills. Initiative, including ability to manage own time.
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
