The Part-Time Communication Assistant works within SalesForce Marketing Cloud to create, edit, and deploy email campaigns for University Events clients and other University administration. This position is responsible for developing and managing constituent lists for email communication and surveys and following specified formatting and guidelines necessary for Marketing Cloud. This position assists with development, design, and upkeep of websites for University Events, IUB Commencement and IUPUI Commencement. This position aids in the development and maintenance of timelines for email marketing and social media campaigns, while ensuring client needs are satisfied and best practices are followed. Some writing, proofreading and editing support for various communications and projects is also provided.
High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication skills. Highly thorough and dependable. Maintains a high degree of professionalism. Time management and priority setting skills. Demonstrates a high commitment to quality.
Note: The c andidate should be available to work on-site when needed, but virtual work will be encouraged whenever appropriate, per recommendations by Indiana University.
An average work week is approximately 20 hours but may vary according to priorities.
