Under general supervision the Program Coordinator oversees daily operations of Chaifetz School of Business Communications & Technology Service Center/Data Analytics Lab and manages IT support tasks; provides support for event planning initiatives; provides support for marketing initiatives; and coordinates daily mail pick-up and delivery.
Oversees Communications & Technology Service Center and Data Analytics Lab; hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates student staff; manages IT support activities; assists with the procurement of computer hardware and other technology equipment for staff and faculty; provides copying services including faxing, cutting, laminating, and binding; maintains inventory of copier supplies, including paper and ink, and assures that individual machines are stocked; and initiates purchase orders/payments, maintains purchasing card, and reconciles financial transactions.
Supports event planning activities; reserves and sets up event spaces; coordinates technology needs; works with food service to coordinate catering options; maintains soft drink and bottled water supplies; creates invitations, manages RSVPs, and maintains guest lists; creates and distributes nametags; creates and distributes programs; and manage check-in stations.
Supports internal and external marketing initiatives; assists marketing department with creation of print promotional materials; assists with orders and distribution of Chaifetz School branded promotional items as necessary; and manages the SharePoint collaborative platform for storing, organizing and sharing documents.
Coordinates Mail Pick Up and Delivery; receives and sorts daily mail delivery from SLU Mail Services; coordinates the daily delivery of mail to offices in the School of Business; gathers daily outgoing mail from offices in the School of Business; and acts as liaison to SLU Mail Services.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
