This primary purpose of the part time Library Specialist is to assist the Librarian in daily operations of the library.

Assist with circulation desk activities and orderly maintenance of shelves, including supervision of student workers in the performance of these duties.
Assist and instruct patrons in using and learning to independently access library databases and online library catalog.
Provide library coverage during lunch periods when full time regular staff are away from library.
Assist students with computer access and other general library questions.
Assist full time library staff in special projects as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Associate degree and two years related experience.
Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and computer/technology skills.
