Prime Analytics is a new initiative (with strong executive sponsorship from our Chief Operating Officer) to unify the large data community at MSK. We are standardizing career paths and professional development, technical infrastructure, and analytical tools across the hospital. In this role, you will partner with departments across the organization and distill their expertise into a widely-used analytics codebase for the institution, acting as a force-multiplier in our work to conquer cancer.
Continually improve existing in-house packages by adding new features, resolving bugs, reviewing Pull Requests, and making new releases.
Leverage industry best practices to build fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
Increase code coverage and raise the documentation standards of our Analytics codebase.
Keep a pulse on the underlying open-source packages.
Experience in Python/R, including experience delivering code that others rely on to do their work.
Dedication to high development standards, including unit tests and documentation.
Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git/GitHub.
Prior experience creating and maintaining Python/R libraries is a strong plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD best practices, and experience with GitHub Actions is a strong plus.
Experience with SQL is a plus.
