The Administrative Coordinator provides executive assistance to the Deans in the Office of Medical Education and the Assistant Director of the Office of Medical Education with scheduling meetings and other administrative tasks. This position will be responsible for coordination and administrative aspects of first and second year of the medical school to include management of the Pre-Clerkship Elective (PCE) program with job duties that include coordination of the PCE fair, catalog and communication with PCE leaders around logistics. The Administrative Coordinator will also be responsible for coordination of the tutoring program, as well as the Integrated Clinical Arts program and assisting with coordination of the bi-annual Interprofessional Education Day (IPE) and other IPE events that occur throughout the year. In addition, the Administrative Coordinator assists in preparing and coordinating exam processes, including proctoring.
Education and Experience:
Required: Bachelorâ™s degree and 1-2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: Academic work experience and a business degree or certificate.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good computer skills: Workday, database maintenance, desktop publishing, Filemaker, and other computer software
Good writing/editing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work with a diverse population of administrators, students, faculty.
Possesses a willingness and ability to support a Diverse and inclusive campus community.
