Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Department Name: 81060:PLANT AND SOIL SCIENCES
This position will be responsible for managing applied grain crop research trials at the University of Kentucky Research and Education Center in Princeton, KY and on-farm trials. The major responsibilities of this position are to plant, manage, and harvest research trials and prepare samples for analysis. Additional responsibilities will include managing pesticide inventory and equipment maintenance. Occasionally, field equipment may need to be modified to accommodate field research trials. A majority of the workload will occur outdoors in the summer and occasionally winter months and will include lifting, moving, and handling bags at least 50 pounds. Familiarity with agronomic production systems in Kentucky is preferred.

B.S. degree in Agriculture, Agronomy or related discipline.
Kentucky Pesticide Applicators License.
