Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Rutgers, The State University Of New Jersey is seeking a Student Assistant for the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology within the School of Public Health (SPH). Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Student Assistant will assist with research projects addressing HIV-associated comorbidities, coinfections, and complications in infants, children, youth, and adults with HIV.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Assists with data management, data analysis, and creation of tables and figures.
Assists with the editing and preparation of manuscripts, publications, reports and presentations.
Provides updates on research progress in an organized and timely manner.
Prepares and maintains IRB regulatory documents and IRB submissions.
Provides administrative research support to ongoing data collection.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Must be a current Rutgers student.
Must have experience with both SAS and R programming.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must possess quantitative analytic skills and have appropriate training in epidemiology and/or biostatistics.
Must have good communication skills.
Previous experience with Zotero, Qualtrics, RedCap, and human subjects research.
Interest in HIV and infectious diseases.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to lift or exert force up to 25 pounds.
