Job Description: This position is a core member of the Centers team, reporting to the Director and will be responsible for the day to day administration, troubleshooting, and data input for the line of business tools used by the Workforce Center, including DestinyOne (customer lifecycle management system), Canvas (learning management system), Zoom (web conferencing), and WebEx (web conferencing).Â As time and proficiency allow, this position will also support other tools used by the Center. The position provides tier 1 support and interfaces with vendor support resources for additional support as needed. This role also is expected to collaborate with the Centers staff to remain current on solutions, emerging and existing, to support the work of the Center.Â
Primary Job Responsibilities:
DestinyOne Software (website/registration/ecommerce system). First line for troubleshooting as well as general management of the system. This includes data input and edits, programming, integrations, reporting, testing, system updates, troubleshooting and working with vendor support for more complicated technical issues.Â (35%)
Canvas (learning management system). Assist with the initial rollout of the system including system and feature set-up based on best practices for synchronous virtual courses, cross system integrations, building and revising templates and courses, providing first line of support and working with vendor support for more complicated technical issues (30%)
Webex and Zoom (web conferencing). Set-up and oversee Webex and Zoom accounts and tailor features and settings specifically to the needs of Workforce Center courses and students. Schedule and manage web conferencing sessions and ensure that instructors can confidently teach classes in these virtual environments. First line of technical support as well as work with vendor support for more complicated technical issues. (15%)
Works as a liaison between the Center, the Information Technology Services department at SLU as well as external vendor technical teams and support. (10%)
Serves as a member of the Centers team, attending regular operational and planning meetings, identifying and researching technology needs, sharing best practices, making recommendations for optimization of systems to best serve the needs of the Center and other duties as required.Â (10%)
