As a Student Financial Services Coordinator you will:
Provide operational support for Low Income Protection Plan (LIPP) and Summer Public Interest Funding (SPIF), including application processing, tracking, status monitoring, and assists in planning application processes
Serve as primary customer service contact for students and alumni in the LIPP and SPIF programs including walk-in, telephone, and email inquiries
Assist with aspects of LIPP award processing including basic awarding, adjustments, quality control and the distribution of funds
Assist with maintenance and updates of program websites
Provide event coordination, planning, and general clerical support for the departmental financial literacy program
Perform other duties as assigned; for some duties, may report to other members of the Student Financial Services (SFS) team

Minimum 3 years of relevant administrative, customer service and/or technology leaning support experience required. Education may count toward experience.
Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests and handle complex and confidential information with discretion
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Effective written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
Experience managing complex processes in a technological environment
Strong data management and analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and in web-based data management tools
Comfort working collaboratively with a team to manage a demanding workload
Background in financial aid helpful
Comfort presenting information to small groups helpful
