Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation
The Campus Visit Experience Coordinator serves an important role in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation and has the primary responsibility of managing the public contact area for the office. This includes overseeing the Undergraduate Admissions and Orientation front service reception area; primary oversight (hiring, development, and assessment) of our extensive student ambassador and staffing program (Grit Guides), and the management and supervision of an administrative assistant. The Campus Visit Experience Coordinator oversees the scheduling and logistics for daily campus visits, including Black and Gold Information Session and Tours and individual visits for specific target student populations. The Campus Visit Experience Coordinator serves as the primary liaison for all high schools, community colleges, and non-profit organizations that visit UMBC, coordinating experiences across campus with a variety of offices and departments across campus.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience in student ambassador programs, admissions, enrollment management, customer service, or related area. Must have previous supervisory experience which involved recruitment/selection, development and assessment. Event management experience required, preferably in higher education.
Two years of event management experience preferred.
Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in working with the public, strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are desired.
Experience in the following technologies preferred: Welcome to College or similar scheduling and staffing technology, Salesforce, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, Blackthorn Events.
