The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for an open rank Gastroenterologist with expertise in endoscopic procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to procedures, clinic visits, inpatient consult service. Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills. An interest in clinical research and teaching is desirable. Candidate will be active in training of GI fellows, residents and medical students. Candidate must be MD, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Rank dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Education and Experience:
Proficiency in standard endoscopic procedures. At least three years of gastroenterology and training. Good communication and organizational skills with clinical education and/or research interest.
